In 1999, with funding from the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) of the EU, and assist with the EOT, the Halkidiki Hotel Association has created twenty trails for trekking in Halkidiki, in an effort to help our guests in our region to enjoy in all its glory the rich flora and fauna of our country.

Routes 16 to 19 are close enough to the "hostel elatodasos ', including the route 19, which starts from the top of the mount Cholomontas and ends 10km. northwest to the village Paleochora, and route 17 which starts from the village Taxiarhis and ends at the village Vrastama.
